Erik Oliva is a seasoned data engineer and software developer with extensive knowledge of data relations, visualizations, reporting and statistical analysis. His expertise in software solutions offers a unique perspective on the data pipeline process and allows him to create a streamlined data integration system. Erik applies his knowledge of multi-relational system architectures in tandem with integrations, imports, manipulations, and migrations to advance the integration and investigative inspection of siloed criminal justice system data.

Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining Luminosity, he worked as a Database Engineer in the health field with a focus on the COVID-19 pandemic where he developed reports, metrics, investigations, and predictive measures that were given to the Department of Health to aid in pandemic response throughout the state. He has also served as a full stack software developer for thousands of websites and clients across the country, as well as a data researcher for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association.
